Mentoring Programs
The Mentoring Program movement offers protected conditions and coordinated structures for a differentiated examination of the career path for female students, doctoral students, postdoctoral researchers, and international women scientists at the University of Bielefeld. The program's focus is to sharpen the focus on one's priorities, develop viable perspectives for shaping the future, and explore corresponding action strategies.
Physics and Equality
German Physical Society - Working Group on Equal Opportunities (AKC)
The Working Group on Equal Opportunities has made it its mission to represent the interests of female physicists within the German Physical Society (DPG) and in public. It organizes, among other things, workshops and the Conference for Female Physicists.
A physicist is presented every week at the following link:
The German Conference for Female Physicists 2022 (DPT2022) will be hosted by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from November 24-27, 2022. The conference, which has been held annually since 1997, offers (not only) female physicists a forum for professional exchange and networking. The conference program includes technical presentations, events on equal opportunity topics, contributions on career perspectives, and a program for students. Further information can be found on the conference website: https://s.kit.edu/dpt2022. Registration is expected to open in early June.
Interested female students can contact the Chair of the Equal Opportunities Commission for further information on the conference and financing.
